To join El Monte Community Credit Union you must maintain a regular share savings account with a minimum balance of $5 and pay a $5 lifetime membership fee.
Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible for membership with El Monte Community Credit Union if you live, work, or worship in the following cities:
- El Monte
- South El Monte
- Baldwin Park
- Rosemead
- Irwindale
Other eligible groups:
- Immediate family members of eligible individuals
- Organizations composed of eligible individuals
- Other credit unions organized under Federal or State laws
- Employees of the San Gabriel Valley Water Company who work in El Monte, Fontana, or Whittier

Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed within 24 business hours. After review, one of our representatives will contact you via phone to facilitate your one-time, refundable pledge amount of $5 and $5 minimum initial deposit.
